You just don’t understand
How hard it is to watch you love and chase someone who makes it look so Damm easy to walk away. It’s unfair almost how often we want those who ignore us and ignore the ones who want us but I never thought it’d be as cliché as it is, happening to me for a second time. Looking at you and you looking at her, but as soon as she walks away you lock eyes with me and smile and say something sweet? Just don’t. Why torture ourselves into believing you’d ever leave her? She’s put you through hell, hit you, cheated, ignored you, neglected you beyond any apology’s worth, but still you act like the sun shines out of her ass? I don’t get it and I never will. Love is blind, sure, but being blind has nothing to do with being an emotional wreck constantly wondering how they feel, how you feel, if today she’ll love you, if today is gonna be a constant fight. That’s not love. That’s not friendship. Back up and look at all I’ve done for you. Driven out of my way to pick you up on countless occasions, making you laugh on days you didn’t wanna smile, telling you what to do when you have no idea, telling your gf EXACTLY what she should be saying verses what she said or was going to say. News flash: (and you might wanna sit down because this probably will come as a huge surprise to you) you fell in love with all the things I said for her to say. You fell in love with the simple side of her and all the things you thought she would be. But that’s the funny thing about being someone you’re not, you can only do it for so long before the true colors come out. The shitty person begins to emerge and you’re left sitting there thinking she doesn’t care, she’s changed, where did I go wrong…? When in actuality she never cared she hasn’t changed she just ran out of people to ask for advice and opinions and the only place you went wrong, was falling for someone who wasn’t there to catch you. When someone shows you who they are the first time, believe it. Because they will NEVER change. And when someone shows you that they care, and would go out of their way for you, and talk you off the ledge, and hug you like I do, and makes you smile like I do, embrace that… That’s the stuff you should never let go
